## Who Sophyx serves

Sophyx is designed for founder-led business-to-business and professional-services firms with 5 to 50 people, as well as agencies serving those firms. Agencies can offer AI search services to clients under their own brand without adding staff.

The approach is intended for teams that want practical guidance on how their business appears in AI-generated answers, rather than visibility data without a clear next step.

## How Sophyx works

- **Checks AI answers.** Sophyx tracks up to 30 prompts per cycle on ChatGPT and Gemini, including Google AI Overviews. It flags answers that name a competitor or contain incorrect business facts.
- **Improves information on the business’s website.** Sophyx’s AI Guide prepares accurate facts in the business’s own words and publishes them on its own domain, where AI assistants can read them.
- **Connects interested customers with booking times.** Assistants can offer available times so a customer can move from an answer to the business’s calendar.

Sophyx says setup takes about 30 minutes and ongoing use about an hour a month. On the free plan, 30 prompts are re-checked every two weeks.

## Company and approach

Sophyx is based in Toronto, Canada, uses Canadian hosting, and is part of the Invest Ottawa ecosystem. It is built in Canada by a small team.

CEO and co-founder Reza Kashi began working on the problem after a business he co-owns was missing from ChatGPT recommendations. He started addressing the issue for that business; the work succeeded and led to Sophyx.
